You had us at Modular
In our continued quests to be more efficient, sustainable and adaptable in our designs a word that comes up a lot is “modularity” (or modular, depending on how you’re supposed to end that sentence in correct English).
Modularity is about grids, structure, systems, and ultimately, options. It makes a single design live a thousand lives and when you crack the modularity code it’s a beautiful thing.
Marc Newson has designed a lot of amazing things in his career so far, and this probably isn’t the most amazing, but Quobus is simple, functional and perfectly modular, and that is definitely worth appreciating.
